Southern peninsula

The best part about having my own rig is I can cover alot of ground.
At home I love to explore old logging roads in the backwoods and that's exactly what I did all day.
I just picked a direction and then took any side road or dirt two-track that looked neat.
I would drive down a dirt road and then park and hike.
First of all, the sounds in this jungle are
Like nothing you've heard back home.
Some kind of bug here sounds just like a piercing fire alarm ( it's very loud and constant)
Monkeys make whooping noises, and the birds are completely different.
It may sound strange, but the jungle sounds here are actually really creepy.
Hard to explain, but the whooping, buzzing, clacking, and occasional crashing of brush, really puts a guy on edge, it's a totally different kind of forest than I'm used to...
