I discovered that I like spicy. A woman brought me a curry yesterday that was very hot.
It's rude here to waste food anyway so I eat it no matter what.
This was really good though, spicy but lots of flavor.
The woman came up when i finished and Said, "to spicy?" I said "Mai-aroy"
( no-delicious) she laughed and patted my shoulder and said "you good boy- eat spicy!)
They are funny about their food here they get really happy when you compliment their cooking, and twice now I've been asked to sit down and eat with thai strangers. Both times all they wanted was to share their food with a foreigner.
