Singing Christmas carols

Picked up a guitar last night, started playing around midnight, finally as the sun was coming up, myself and three french people, two from england and a couple of thai folks were sitting on the steps of an old building, and we were all singing jingle bells and every other christmas carol we could think of. They wouldnt let me quit playing till I walked away! after we did jingle bells about 4 times I was ready to go :)
here are some more pictures of bangkok, would have left already but I need another day here to do some shopping. I blistered my feet so bad from walking around all day in new shoes, that I had to spend a day in my room off my feet!!

So far I have had converstations with people from Burma, India, Pakistan, england, australia,and russia,But I havent met a single american! All these people from all these countries were really nice sincere people. It reminds me that even with all the politics, and wars and religious conflicts we really are all quite alike with the same dreams and ideas and fears. It really opens your eyes to meet someone from a country youve heard terrible things about and find out they just love their kids and wife, and have a little job that barely pays, all over the world people really are going through the same things....
