Khoa San thoughts.

Bangkok at night is a whole new world! There are religious statues and temples and prayer flags on every corner. Plus, they line all the streets with Christmas lights and turn them on every night. This is a really spiritual (and superstitious) colorful, and gentle culture. I already have a lot of respect for Thailand. I think the best thing about meeting the everyday people in these poor countries is I really realize that you can be safe and happy without a 401k... All kinds of people have tried to make me spend my money here, but the one person who made me want to give, was a guy my age with no arms or legs. He had a cardboard sign in his mouth but he was trying to scuttle down the road to his spot. Well god was good to him today cause I saw him at like 10 am, and I just had to give him some help. His look was so sincere and thankful that I'll never forget it. Next time I feel bad about my life I'm gonna remember that.
