Vang vieng

Yesterday I went and visited a cave that had old religious relics inside and a lagoon for swimming in.
It was amazing. I rode a motorcycle through farms and past water buffalo to get there.
To climb to the cave you had to climb steep rocks until you get to the opening.
Inside is a reclining Buddha statue. In the afternoon sunlight shines through a hole and illuminates the Buddha.
It was beautiful.
I went with a friend I made from chekoslavakiao, and met 2 French couples there that I knew from earlier. We had a great day swimming and eating coconut sticky rice while relaxing on grass mats. Noone spoke very much English, but it's interesting to be able to make friends with only a few words!
