Todays find

Today I finally found a better map (one with some English words on it)
And I used it to follow the coast south.
It's been an amazing day.
This part of Thailand is very primitive, people living in bamboo huts on stilts and absolutely no stores, restaurants, or modern amenities available to someone passing through.
My front tire developed a very slow leak so I had to find a farmer with an air compressor.
He let me air up for free and I bought some curry and rice from his wife and ate lunch in their yard.
Locals here that want to sell food for extra money will cook outside and put it out on little tables in the yard. instead of restaurants you just find a lady cooking outside, and buy some of what she is cooking.
I drove south till I found a car ferry that would take me to an island I read about that has long white sand beaches that are almost completely empty.
Well it was true. It's the perfect find. I'm gonna camp here for a couple days.
Near the ferry there was a market where I bought some bottled water, hot dog looking meats, veggies, and fruit so I'm good to stay out in the woods and on the beach for a couple days....
